Our new website features a mobile version that automatically recognizes many smartphones and the Apple iPad and will then display a optimized version for those devices. Check it out!

We're Back!

We have re-launched the Grants Pass Scene website with a whole new set of features that we hope you will find useful.

  1. Full Featured Blog. Support multiple editors.

  2. Venue Listing. Includes venue information and Google map.

  3. Event Listing. Event details page and ticket sales link when available.

  4. Fan Galleries. Allows fans to upload photographs.

  5. Smartphone Ready. The website has a full featured mobile version running in parallel with the desktop version that displays a optimized version of the website on iPhone, iPad, Android and Blackberry phones.

  6. iPad Ready. Can also allow a iPad to download the site as an App to the iPad home screen.

  7. Live Blog-able. Using a downloadable App the website can be updated via a mobile phone, including uploading phone camera pictures directly into the posting.

  8. Home page featured album with mp3 player. Can also be linked to Amazon.com and iTunes for artist sales support.

The Historic Rogue Theatre

The Rogue Theatre opened its doors in 1938 as one of the few theaters built during the heart of the Great Depression. Crowds filled her seats to watch Spencer Tracy, Clark Gable, and Marlene Dietrich on the silver screen. News Reels brought home the battlefront during the "Big War." Through the fabulous 50's, and the turbulent 60's the theatre attracted crowds to downtown Grants Pass. As years passed, the advent of television, multiplex cinemas and shopping malls made it difficult for the aging theatre to compete. Closing it's doors in 1999. Read more

Cedarwood Saloon

Originally a farm house built in the early 1930's; the Cedarwood Saloon was established in 1984 and quickly became a successful landmark Saloon. Located just south of Grants Pass on Redwood Avenue,"The Wood" as many locals refer to us, started out as a small local watering hole. The years have seen much growth and extensive remodeling both inside and out to include a full service bar and kitchen. look for the giant Muffler Man (Paul Bunyan) our roadside statue standing tall and you'll find us tucked back off the road next to a giant cedar tree.
