AWARD-WINNING BED & BREAKFAST IN JACKSONVILLE, OREGON
Housed in one of gold-rush Jacksonville’s early permanent structures, the Jacksonville Inn perpetuates the nostalgic romances of that era. Built in 1861, the walls of the dining area and lounge were built of locally quarried sandstone, and specks of gold are still visible in the mortar. The town is the first in America to be named a National Historic Landmark, and Jacksonville has preserved its 19th Century charm. Located in the heart of this national landmark town, The Inn is an elegant historic Jacksonville, Oregon bed and breakfast, featuring luxurious Honeymoon Cottages.
On the 10th of September the Jacksonville Inn will be hosting a Chardonnay tasting with Sommelier Joseph Shaughnessy. During the tasting Certified Sommelier Joseph will be pouring five examples of Chardonnay from all across the globe to compare on contrast styles, production methods, and nuances that help make this varietal so loved by most wine enthusiasts. Whether you prefer white wine to be lean and crisp or big and buttery you will find something you enjoy at this tasting. Guests will enjoy complimentary food pairings as well as an opportunity to purchase all wines sampled that day at a discount of 10% off. Reservations are $30 per person and the tasting begins at 6:30pm Tuesday Sept. 10th. at the Jacksonville Inn. We look forward to sharing this journey with you!
